A bit about me
After graduating as a Registered Associate Nutritionist, I have continued to explore my interest in the interplay between nutrition and exercise by studying towards an MSc in Sports Nutrition. I also have a keen interest in nutritional and sports science research, particularly relating to probiotics and the athlete's gut microbiome.
Having undertaken many years of ballet training during my childhood and adolescent years, I have developed a first-hand appreciation of the many factors that play a role in performance and recovery. In 2023, I set myself the challenge of running the London marathon to raise money for charity - an experience that sparked a love for running and led me to sign up again in 2024. These personal experiences have given me invaluable insight into the importance of nutrition in supporting athletic performance and have inspired me to further my nutritional knowledge and qualifications in the field of performance nutrition. I am passionate about providing evidence-based nutritional advice to support others in reaching their goals.
Interesting fact: I once performed in front of former Strictly Come Dancing Pro Graziano Di Prima
Coaching philosophy
For me, providing athletes with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions is key – ensuring nutritional intakes effectively support overall health, training, recovery and performance, whilst maintaining an enjoyable, healthy relationship with food. Optimal nutrition looks different for everyone, hence why the provision of practical advice, tailored to each individual athlete is one of the most important elements of my practice.
